A group, a project, the special creation for our Festival.
"Sin Nombre" is composed of seven musicians who play
traditional Argentine tango to be danced during milongas.
The Orchestra was founded on the initiaive of the violinist and arranger
of all compositions: Maciej Lulek, following the model of pre-war orquestras
of the tango "golden age"
(the pieces are arranged in the style of the orchestras
led by Carlos di Sarli, Francisco Canaro, Florindo Sassone,
Julio de Caro and others).
The first tango orchestra in Poland!
The Orchestra made its very successful debut during the last
edition of the Festival "Puente del Tango" in Krakow.
This year, they will play at the main festival milonga.
Guillermo Destaillats, bandoneonist form Argentina, has been
invited to play with them as a special guest.
Guillermo visited our country severeal times.
In 2001, he performed on the stage of "Rotunda" with his group
"Pantango" during the first live music milonga in Krakow!
On that occasion, he played with the band "Trio Revirado";
he would later join them in Grzegorz Frankowski's project:
"Tango Bridge - Pomost Tanga", a series of concerts connecting
the three tango scenes: Berlin, Warsaw and Krakow, a "beginner city"
at the time. He is a frequent guest of our festival.
He lives in Berlin and performs with the orchestras
"Silencio" and "La Rolando Rivas"..

We are very pleased that we will see and hear them again,
dancing to their music!
